I have 4 plants going right now. One is a dream machine and the other 3 are auto Frisian dews. This year may has been spotty for decent weather and its now anywhere from 40-55 deg during the day and as low as 35 at night. These seedling are in pots and are outside but as it got cold I haven't had anywhere too move them so I sat them up on stuff in my car (needs a clutch so hasent been moved) I know its not ideal but it stays at least 5 deg warmer in there and keeps the cold rain and stuff off them. Putting them in the house isn't an option as I don't have lights or space. So basicly how cold would these seedlings have too get too actually stunt them? They look healthy and def are growing as far as I can tell. There still forming their first small pointed leaves.
Sorry for the rambling. Thanks in advance too anyone that can help me out with this.

Ok thats where I am as well and I was just out at my hill and saying this cold shit needs to stop. You should be ok as long as this was our last cold spell

Got something figured out for temp lighting just for a few days at least till weather clears up. Now I just don't know what CFLs I should use. I got 2x 6500k (i think its not labed on the bulb but its really blue and not red when on like the one marked 3000k),13watt CFLs and a 23 watt 3000k.....should I have 1 of the 13 watt ones with the 23 watt one or both the 13 watt ones cause of the 6500k? They are gunna be only 3 autos for only a few days and close as possible...any thoughts?
Here's a picture of the floodlight I rig'd up in about 5 mins lmaoIMG_20150521_223019.jpg

Your light should be okay for a few days. As far as outside temps, mine live outside from seed to snip-snip. They are started in soil (peat mix actually) end of April to early May. Our day temps that time of year are generally 15-20 C and night temps down to 8C. I have never had an issue.

The most critical portion of the plant to keep warm us the root zone, you can accomplish this by burying your pots in the ground, the surrounding soil retains heat and is an excellent insulator.

If nothing else, it's something to think about.
