How did I loose all 12 plants the

Ok so 1 plant started to change 2 days ago, and today they all changed. They started to make seeds inside the buds. someone said (hermidephis or something like that. I dont know the date they entered the room, but the should have been ready the first or so of jan. What did I do, any help would be great thanks. There might have been a chance light got to them. Would this do it.

lots of things could have done it, the light could have been, u said they should of been rdy first of jan, well its almost been 2 weeks thats all it takes soemtimes for plants to become hermie shoulda chopped sooner, no big deal u got plenty of seeds for ur next grow chop em, dry em, cure em, smoke em pz

Yes, light leaks (as well as other types of stress) can cause hermaphrodite plants. It could also be caused by bad genetics, or simply as a result of being late in flower, since some plants throw out a pollen sack or two as a last ditch attempt to propogate themselves.

Is there a lot of seeds, or just a few?

Hi Im back, my computer has been down since Thursday, ATT guy just got me up again.
Ok , so there were only a few seeds, I thought I was checking the trchs daily, I read on here to get a Radio Shack micro so I did, and they seemed about 80% 2 days before I started to cut them, then when I went back there were all screwed up. I cut them all down, and tossed them. What a waste, dam that was hard to do.

What? are you saying you didnt get ANY bud off of them? I mean why not just harvest them pick the seeds and count your small loss? instead of wasting all of it? Mabye im just too stoned and im missing something?

Yep I tossed them, they look like shit. All the red hairs started to stick out, instead of a tight bud, it look really spread out. I trying drying in a dark closet, but it was not sticky, and looked really bad. I moved some stuff around in the room and found some light leaks, and I put some girls back into it. back to the drawing board.

I had a gut reaction recently to finding one of my "Girls" had turned. I found the male flowers near the bottom and hacked it down. I probably should have left it for the extra week of flowering but I felt soo betrayed.

I did not throw it out however, I am drying it as I type this. Sometimes you have a gut reaction and think after you do something rash. I feel your pain.

ive never heard of a single person throwing away harvested bud, especially
a new grower. take pictures next time
