Don't worry. Veg, don't smell as much as flower. Within two weeks you'll both not be able to smell it anymore. You'll just be used to it. Everyone else though, they will! Use a carbon or charcoal filter, whichever you prefer. Nice, Bushmaster.

you dont wanna be growing god damn dope with clothes in the closet. I grow in a my closet in my room... seal up the edges of the door with insualtion weather stripping.. take the clothes and everything else out of closet... paint the walls/floor/ceiling with flat white pain. hang a light.. put plant containers on plant saucers and you're good to go.. If light you have wont cover footprint of your closet.. buy one single sheet of white foam insulation board at lowes.. 1 6x8 foot sheet is about 10 bucks.. then you can cut that sheet and install floor to ceiling in your closet to make lets say a 6x6 closet into a 3x3.. put in an oscillating fan and BAM.. You can now grow the funk.

I dont even suggest trying to grow/flower with cfl's.. they add heat more you put in. I would buy a full spectrum LED.

That is exactly how i did my closet and it flat out works! if you only grow 1 or 2 plants even in deep flower you wont smell a thing until you open the door and even then its not like someone will walk in your front door and smell the grow.

Yeah, those clothes will reek. If she gets a traffic stop in a red state, she can expect the full body search........

I've smelled the dank on me for hours after I just stuck my head in the tent.

Take her clothes out of the closet. Problem solved.
Your plants are much more important.
Well im going to take my clothes out of my side definitely. So I'm putting a cabinet/box inside my closet on one side Idk if that helps forgot to mention that. so I'm not growing in my closet directly im growing inside a cabinet/box thats going to placed on one side of the closet in the corner. And it's like one of those rolling door closets

If you have a decent tent fan, muffler, carbon filter smell and noise wont be much of an issue. Well you will hear the sound of the filter sucking in air if your in the room, but you get used to it....

Examples from quick search not saying to use any of these products just showing what will work in a 4x4 or 5x5
Fan 400-450 CFM fan https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/91929/GROW-ACDF6.html?gclid=Cj0KEQiA5bvEBRCM6vypnc7QgMkBEiQAUZftQLGHEAWjZGwtIKouNItBjswOpD3HHzaKaJWrs3LimyUaAp678P8HAQ
6" Duct Muffler ( make sure the muffler uses acustical maerial not fiberglass if venting into livable space) https://jet.com/product/detail/56c0feafb05b449a9790d72b8cd1600e?jcmp=pla:ggl:a_nj_dur_gen_hardware_a2_b1:heating_ventilation_air_conditioning_a2_other:na:PLA_648364219_30263114422_pla-161719582140:na:na:na:2&code=PLA15
6" Carbon Filter - http://www.zenhydro.com/ipower-6-x16-inch-air-carbon-filter-inline-fan-scrubber.html?utm_source=google_shopping&gclid=Cj0KEQiA5bvEBRCM6vypnc7QgMkBEiQAUZftQE2ZP4DQ-i9TIsKT3mJq8EBAWxpvkC6Z5EVyA1f6GOcaAkkm8P8HAQ

I advise using self tapping screws to connect the muffler fan & carbon filter then use the shinny duct tape to seal off air. Would also get a fan controller so you don't need to go full blast at all times

hell, a carbon filter exhausting clean air into a closet will probably brighten up the smell.

Yeah that is my plan but just worried about covering up the smell and all. thanks for your input
You can get a 6" 440 cfm fan with controller for like $60-70. And the whole package including a carbon filter for between $100-$120 on eBay or Amazon. You'll be fine.
