How do I start clones?

I am a medical patient and am planning on purchasing a few clones from one of the clinics to grow. Since I'm a noob I don't know how to start them. What am I supposed to do if they come in those little foamy cubes? Do I take them out and plant them in soil?

You leave them in the "rockwool" cubes and you plant the entire "thing" into the soil..
Are you in the states?

You should get the best bag of soil you can purchase.. black gold or fox farm..
