how do i stop height growth and ok or not ok Defoliating leaves

Just started flowering stage and my baby is strecthing way too much almost popping out of my growbox. How can I stunt the growth of the height ? And also is it okay for me to trim off fan leaves so I can increase light reaching the stem? I'm kind of at a crossroads of doing it because im afraid of stressing my plant and making her a hermie. So for right now I have fan leaves bent away from my budsites. Any suggestions? Also my birthday is the 12th wish me a happy birthday!

No it is not okay to just randomely take off fan leaves. it will stress your plant out also cut the top foot off your plant otherwise it will just become an ongoing and worsening problem. good luck

..ok what light are you using? you need to move the light closer or increase the amount of light or both depending what your using but if you already have this set up right you cant really stop the stretch other than trying to lst it a little better...also noo dont be cutting off fan leaves why would the stem need light lmao?! if you mean the budsites then what i do is tuck the leaves behind the buds when they are in the way and the branch will hold the leaf back..wind up doing this twice a day kind of tedious but thats the best thing to do if you want light exposure at the shadowed point
