How do i use water PH stabilizers ?

I got this water testing kit from General Hydrophonics and it says to put 2 drops of that stuff to the water, comes with a small vial, im sure it's familier.
anyway the water is Cyan, its bloody Cyan is it possible that my sink water is 8.5 PH or even more ? god damn.

I also have PH down drops, should I use them on clean water first, and afterwards do a water test again ? until I see yellow water ? Or can I just add PH down drops right now in the vial, What im asking is can I keep adding nutes to the water and use it to water my plants, after doing a PH test on it. Thats the question. Does the PH test ruins it or something. u know ? thanks dudes.

Greetings, to answer part of the question, yes tap water can be a higher pH as/than the ocean..

Could be Shetty county water.

Mine comes out at 7.1 .

Side note the pH is great for drinking water. You want an 8.1 it fux up bad things inside the body.

One of the most important things that you should be considering when using tap water for feeding your plants, beside pH, is EC or ppm levels of your water. The best way is that you invest in a combo (EC/pH) meter. Tap waters can have a huge difference in EC and chemical compositions, and of course you don't want to burn your plants.

What you're growing in determines where your ph needs to be.
You PH after adding whatever it is you're adding. As far nutrients are concerned they'll lower the PH of your water by themselves, it's likely you'll need to raise it after mixing everything together.

Sounds like I need a quality PH and PPM meter, any tips on what to get ?

what ph for good drinking water?? my tap is 70ppm and 7.0 ph,, but i seen a bottle of spring water that sais 8.1 ph on the bottle... i thought that a human body is healthy at a ph of 7,, drinking water at 8.1 wont that rais your bodies ph??
as a note cancer cells cannot survive in a healthy ph level of 7

ive herd people w cancer that get there bodys ph back to a healthy 7 are cancer free

I can't remember where I read the medical article from early 1900's on the cancer part, seemed sketchy then but looked hopeful.

Alkaline water supposedly kills bacteria in the stomach that cause acid reflux, more hydrating, help with uti etc.

I can't say much about it, never focused on water and the body.

Then there's the other half who say the Alkaline in the water shuts down your pinal gland, which prohibits you from.. doing all sorts of crazy shit, mind over matter stuff.
