HOW DO I WIRE an inline duct FANTECH

i have scoured the forums on instructions specific to my fan. Most instructions involve a electrical assembly with wires already protruding, ready for an easy assembly. Mine, however came with an opening in the electrical assembly and the usual 3 inputs. Should I still use the standard power cord method and just hope that my wires will fit securely in the fan? DAMN SELLER SAID UNIT CAME PREWIRED! HELP!?!?

You need to get some connector, they are called soiderless terminal connectors, if the motor has spades sticking up. If they have terminals that have a nut on them, you loosen the nut, strip about a half inch of the wire, put it under the nut and tighten it back down. THe gold terminal is for the hot (Black wire) the silver terminal is nuetral (White wire) and the green terminal is for the grounding wire (Green wire). VV

what do you ground the fan to though?
The green ground wire is connected to the bottom prong on your plug. When you plug it in to the outlet the outlet has a ground wire as well which goes to a grounding block in your breaker panel. Usually Black is the hot wire (+) and the white is neutral (-) and green is ground.

There are only 3 wires coming off of the cord and 3 terminals to connect to. The black wire on the cord goes to the terminal marked + which is the hot wire. The white wire on the cord goes to the terminal marked - and the green wire goes to the only terminal left and it might even be colored green. There should be a wiring diagram inside the terminal box cover or on a piece of paper showing which terminal is + and - and ground.

OMG thanks VV, this was so much easier than I thought. I had to disassemble the fan a bit, but otherwise just stripped a computer power cord and played the color code game. If anyone really needs pics or additional help just let me know!
