That's it,..how is Hash really made? Haven't personally seen it since the 80's and now that I'm involved in a really nice batch of White Widow buds growing happily away in their 4th week of flowering, my curiosity about other avenues is also growing. Any experts out there wanna share their secrets? Make it as easy as possible please. And oh,..what's the stuff made with rubbing alcohol? Someone was telling me about putting ground up weed in a pan with alcohol and letting it simmer on the stove! Seems dangerous but what he said is strained from this concoction is puurrreee THC. Is this what's called "Honey Oil"?

The easiest and cheapest way to make hash is the blender/ screen method. If want even better hash, bubble bags are a good investement to look into. As for the oil, I havent heard of the alcohol method, but for oil, I use the butane method. Put your bud into a pipe and blast that sucker with a bottle of butane. The butane evaporates off the plate leaving hash oil.

He's right bro for some decent hash the bubble bag method is the best and more effective way of making hash. All that is needed is water ice and 5 gallon bucket and of course your bubble bags. They sell bubble bags on ebay for I think 80 for 5 bags, but 7 would be ideal. If you want to know more check it out on youtube. They got really great tutorials.

its sort of like the bubble bag method but cheaper.
bubble bags are expensive and ive youre just looking to do this to try it out its not worth the investment imho. if you plan to use them over and over again then hell yeah they are worth it. the screen method works as well.

Is making Hash the best way to utilize the remainder of the plant? .... I mean after a 100 days of growing it you sure want to get the most out of it....

It depends on what you want because you can make hash or as previously mentioned you can make canna butter. Another option is to make BHO (Butane Hash oil or Honey oil)

I must concur. Gumby! Gumby! I just did my first run and i have to say - wow. It was awesome and fun. I used nothing but what I had at home and a paint blending attatchment from home depot for 7 bucks. I used sugar leaf trim from a few small runs - and presto 30 grams of awesome bubble hash! A full z. It cost no money, bubble bags are expensive. Wath the videos on u tube you will be glad you did!

i told you to use gumby earlier in the thread because its the cheapest and easiest way but it certainly doesnt make as good of a product as bubble bags. bubble bags also give you multiple levels of quality of hash. the biggest drawback to bubble bags (as mentioned by zuko((avatar is the shit))) is that they are quite expensive

thats why i think this is the best method out there. these work just as well as bubble bags but are easy and cheap to make on your own. if you plan on continuing to make hash then you should definitely consider building a set of these to use instead of having to use the gumby method from now own.

Well,..I'm harvesting my White Widow crop today. Probably got about 1.5 - 2.0 pounds of the stuff. Really great. The clippings have plenty of trichs on them too so should make some good stuff. Thanks for all the tips. I'll try the gumby method. Looks easy enough.

One of the real pluses of bubble hash/the bags is there is no chemical residue in the hash to effect the flavor or anything that might in some way be harmful if smoked a lot. Also as it was mentioned you get different grades/qualities of hash so you can save the best for yourself or to impress someone with and when you have someone mooching off of you then you pull out the lower grade hash and that’s it. Also if you are selling it you can ask a good bit more for the higher grades so you turn a better profit overall.

I have an alrite method that I found from a thread on here a few months back (cant find it now) and its works decent for having almost no money for materials.

O.K, take a pringles can and put all your trimmings, stems, buds, etc in the can, then put 4 quarters in the can. then you will need some pantihouse or some fine screen and tie or tape it around the top of the pringles can. start to shake it into a bag or onto paper or something. The quarters will start to break up the weed as you shake it. The quarters will knock the thc trichromes off the plant, the mushroom crystals lol. and so they will go through the screen leaving the trimmings and everything in there. and the stuff that came out of the screen is what we like to call hash. its a caveman way, but it works decent, one hit of hash and ur ripped for hours. lol hope that helps. :bigjoint:

lol i wanna do some gumby after wathing that video i have some really good regs i have some killer regs how much will i need to get 1 to 2 grams of that gumby

how much trim did u use im just tring to get 2 grams and wanna use some buds really good regs no trim how much will i need
