How do you clean YOUR pipe?

well i never had to buy it. so its money well...not spent.

I use the salt/alcohol method, then for a finish I fill a bowl big enough to submerge the entire piece with hot water and Oxyclean and just let it soak for an hour. Every piece I clean comes out looking brand new. I also don't let my pieces get super dirty.

I buy the $10 metal cheapies...then toss them when dirty.

Wish someone would come out w/a strain that doesn't leave residue whatsoever...resinless herb...

Prior to FDD's departure he was kind enough to share some glass with me & some of them are pretty complex (shaped).
Lately the "Fume free" oven cleaner gets the nod. I give them a shot in each end & let them sit in the sink for 20 min or so, flush well with HOT water & even repeat if necessary.
Just be careful when spraying, if any gets on your hands to wash it off immediately.

Crystal clean glass with no scrubbing or shaking.

I have used the alcohol and salt method for 15 years or so. Always use 90% or higher alcohol and I agree about the rock salt for bigger pieces for the smaller ones I found the larger kosher salt works great. Do not skimp on the salt.

I microwave my glass that will fit in the microwave for 30 secs at a time til fairly hot then use alcohol and cutips. It comes clean easier with the resin heated up.

all that 420 solution is, is salt and alcohol, and some shit to turn it blue. I bought that shit once and used nearly all off it cleaning my bong once. all the salt settles to the bottom and separate from the alcohol and u cant control the water:salt ratio. and the salt granules are too small, like table salt. Always try to use sea salt if you can, sometimes, sea salt granules are too big too fit, in which case you have too use table salt. When i clean my bong, sea salt is too big to get inside the perks, so i have to put table salt and and alcohol in from the top and blow down to get the mixture into the perks. a little sea salt a little rubbing alcohol(enough to keep the salt granules sloshing around), and shake it up,

Just use a paper clip.

Always used over 90% rubbing alcohol and Epsom salt
