How do you flower outdoors?

Sorry. For the next week I'll probably post a good 5-6 stupid questions.

I'm wanting to start growing outdoors. I got used to the indoor growing, and I have no idea how outdoor growing works. I know how to start, but I don't know where to go from there. Does the plant flower on it's own due to the light from outside? How does the flowering stage fit into growing outdoors?

If you leave the plants in pots all year you can flower whenever you want by bringing the plant in around 6 pm put it in a box or some thing where no light can get through even a second of light will halt flowering. If you bring in at 6 that means no light until 6 am (12 hours) or longer. If you want the plants to flower on their own it will be when they get 12 hours of uninterupted darkness around septmber depending on the plant mabey longer but you definately want them to flower before the first freeze. happy growing:joint:

So could I allow my plant to begin flowering outside and then bring it in before the cold temps hit if it's not finished and introduce it to either CFLs or HPS for 12/12?

Yes but I would recomd puting the plants under the lights 2 night out of a week for a couple weeks and in crease the days each week if the plants respond well just going from sun to lights might shock the plant and turn it to a hermafadite. All so a 14 dark 10 light scedule will increase thc and no light for a day or 2 b4 harvesting increases potency. happy growing:joint:

So only give the plants light for 2 days? I've never heard of this before. I've heard some people use 24 hour of light, but never 24+ hours of darkness.

Ok without getting into all this complicated stuff that this person just said. Heres the basic. Yes it flowers on its own outside. Maybe your unaware of this but daylight changes every day and by september and october the light schedule is in the general area of 12/12 hence flowering..so you dont have to bring your plant inside and all that bullshit

Exactly in september the plant will start to produce flower and will be ready to harvest by the end of october... NO needs to put in a box or what ever unless you want to flower kinda indoor.... Have a look a this site.... http://www.timeanddate.com

i only was letting them know that they could induce flowering whenever they wanted by bringin in the plant some people dont no that and i wish i had known that sooner instead of mass producing and mass storing for a year i just flower half of my plants earl pick the buds off and rejuvinate and then they flower bythemselves and i dont have to worry about buyin weed. (in the past 4 yrs ive been growin only 2 plants have hermmied after rejuv.
