Its actually not that small. That pic doesnt show height too well, 12/12 from seed are meant to stay small for limited grow space anyways. And i have 23 watt cfls. Just popped out a few white hairs at the fifth node and shes starting to really smell. Minimal yeild is fine by me btw. Its my first grow, kind of a test run and ended up lucking out with one bag seed being female lol
Why would u bother why not just get autos if u wanna do that grow that plant look very stretchy how much u think its gonna yield not even a oz I reakon heres a auto on 18/6 2 weeks old1401062888688.jpg

There are plenty of substitutes for cal/mag. Takes a 2 second google.
Ya thanks for timing how quick google is for me. What's the point in a form, every body who has a question should just go search google right? Obviously GH cal mg isn't the only source in the world I was just wondering if you or any body had heard of milk being used as a cheap bum method.

I've heard of milk being used for sprays against powdery mildew I believe but not as a calcium substitute. Molasses I think has a bit of calcium in it, and epsom salts has the mag you'd need. People also grind up egg shells and put it in the soil, I imagine you could soak/boil and use the water in hydro, not sure never gone that route myself.

It's the mag that makes the stems red for the most part.

His first grow for funsises I'd doubt he's gonna go spend 20 bucks for some calmg. Curious if he just splashed a bit of milk in some water would that work?
It is lst'd i just stopped pulling them down once flower was in full effect, gotta stress her as minimal as possible when flowering

Ground up eggshells are a good cheap sub. I rinse and dry them, then grind them in a blender. Add water and any other ingredients and feed. And diluted milk absolutely works for powdery mildew.
