nope where did you see that at? thats just dumb it would be better if they had patents for different strains. cause one strain can be used for a sleeping pill being a strong indica. and a strong sativa could be used as an anti depressant or something.

Don't worry they have been. Bayer owns a shit ton of strain name patents so that when weed becomes legal they already own the market and no bud can be sold under the name nothern lights unless you pay bayer a royalty.
