From what I can tell, it's not ready.
The hairs will recede, turning brown. The calyxes will swell. (I dont think you're there yet), the buds will get bigger, then it will stop growing and begin to ripen. The plant will look "done" for about 2 weeks before it's ripe.
Ever ate a green banana? Not good, not ready. For someone who had never seen a ripened banana, s/he might think that banana is ripe. s./he might even like the green banana never having eaten a ripe yellow one. s/he might think that's just how they are. Pot is the exact same way. Just like bananas, pot takes several months to grow to ripeness. You are the green banana grower, just with weed. The bud grows for months, and one day, you're all like, "It's ready!" But it isn't ready. It's a green banana...
Let that banana go another couple weeks, and it turns into something very remarkably different. Pot is the same way. Let it go a couple weeks, get a 50x loupe or scope, and let her ripen. The difference isn't even recognizable.
Curing makes that much difference in the strength of your weed as letting it ripen does.
Hahaha banana bread. You have to let the bananas "cure" before you can do that.
