How does yield and light work?

there aren't any "formulas" to tell you how much you will yield, whether growing indoors or outdoors. any info you find on a seed website is going to be from professionals growing with the best equipment, and they'll pick their best plants to take that average from.
its all about experience. when you start growing, you're going to get shit harvests, you don't have any experience yet. each harvest should get progressively better. its taken me 2 years to get to close to the 1G per watt mark, and thats not a constant, as i run different strains most of the time.
i'm not trying to discourage you, just trying to let you know what to expect. if you kick my ass and get 1G per watt on your first grow, more power to you

i agree..i have every style of lights. and HIDs would be best . CFLs is for clones...imo

if you want the most out of your plants surround them with light
if you want the most out of your lights surround them with plants

Sounds legit though. But thanks for all the help guys. Now i can move on, and begin to grow some BIIG yields ;P
