How Easy Is It To Over Water?

i know overwattering can cause some yellowing of the lower leaves. but say your 4" pots with 1 month or so old plants. so there isn't much soil which im gonna change soon i got the 8" pots. well always fearing not watering enough or them drying up a bit inbetween watering i always gave em more and made sure they had enough.

but how else has anyone had overwattering in soil, and how big were there pots. so i can get more ideas quicker and not have to experiment much more than necessary.

You're on the road to overwatering, or so it sounds. Let the soil dry between waterings. This is when the roots are taking in oxygen and is very necessary for growth and development. It won't hurt for the soil to dry and the plant to start showing signs of wilt. They come right back, usually within 30 minutes of watering.

I would think it would be kind of hard to overwater a 1 month old plant in a tiny 4" pot. I could be wrong though... How big is the plant? Is it not root bound yet?

good one major, more than likely the problem. Dude, transplant them and break the root ball up a little when you do. What system are you using, medium, watering etc. VV

Once you over water a plant in a pot how long does it take to dry out and use up the excess? I think a few of my plants are slightly over watered because they are drooping but it keeps raining a half inch every other day. I want them to go a week without water and nothing but sunshine so the stems thicken up a little.

Why do you have a 30 day old plant in a 4" pot? that is crazy. But what do I know. I can not get plants to grow worth a dam in soil. Hydro all the way with me!!!!!!!
