how far can a male's pollen travel?

hey all,

anyone know (for a fact or from experience) how far a males pollen can travel? my plants aren't THAT far away from one another and one of my best plants appears to be a male so i am curious, i would like some seeds off one plant but if it's risking the lot i would pull it up

as far as a breeze will take it (or a fan). It is designed to float on air currents, however slight.

i read it can travel about a mile radius if i remember correctly

Well, if some happens to get on your shirt and you get on a plane..

it can pollinate your whole crop seed breeding should be done in a controlled enviornment or you end up with snap crackle pop
