Its pretty simple I tried different stuff. I encountered problems and I tweaked nutes and other stuff to get the results I wanted. I didnt ask questions every step of the way like I see so many people doing. Sure I asked some questions. But I think people jump the gun ALOT. I mean if I saw one leaf turning a little yellow I wasnt on here say "EMERGENCY MY PLANTS DYING!!!". I think some people need to just relaxe a bit and let shit ride. If you see something going wrong just read up a bit and try to correct the problem first before posting a question. There is alot of info as everyone knows on this forum and others plus there are many books. Alot of questions posted cant be answered on here correctly cause you nobody knows what you grow space is exactly. So if your plants are droopy maybe its over watering...or PH..or whatever. Alot of symptoms look alike for many problems. So just try to correct the situation first before posting. Weed like everyother living thing wants to survive. Meaning if you mistakingly think the plants are over watered and you stop watering them for a couple days but they get worse then guess what its not a water issue. YOU CAN STILL FIX THEM. So you mess with the PH alittle and they get alittle better then just continue to tweak it. Mostly the plant is not going to die if you try to correct an issue UNLESS YOU GO OVERBOARD!!. Meaning if you think the PH needs to be lowered dont pile on a shit load of lime. Try alittle bit and see the results. I jumped into weed straight into hydro. I enjoy the challange. I keep a detailed grow log of every day Im at home and not away. Everyday I check the PPM and how much water was taken in. I check the PH 2 times a day if I can. I keep records of this every day. This way with the clones I can follow this plan and hopefully get the results. I keep record of problems I encounmter so I can see what caused them and try not to repeat the steps. I think alot of people would benefit from this.

What site did you order your poppies from? And what kind of poppies? Ive been thinking of growing some of those too, My toes curl at the thought of scraping my own raw opium of my own poppy. Prob not a good idea and i would end up being addicted but its all in good fun!

I'm on my first grow too and for the most part I just used common sense and the giant database of knowledge out there to get things going. Between the 15 books I checked out from the library and the info online I've done a great job my first time in making big healthy plants.

I've asked some questions, but really only in my grow journal and just to get second opinions. Because like most things, knowledge is great, but experience helps too.

The op is right tho, so many people freak out before trying to logically fix things. But I can see why people get paranoid too. With the risk involved for some people and the investment, some people really can't afford to make any mistakes.
