cut a little piece off and put it on something then look at it,you'll never hold it still enough to look at anything on the plant

thanks guys. is there specific spot that has the best amount of thc crystals or the spot were there the most mature? idk. i took a peice of the very very top and it barely has the golf ball on a tee looking crystals, just a bunch of smaller ones. this is very difficult. i keep forgetting its inverted and upside down and all that shit. annoying if oyu ask me.

huh mine works without cutting pieces of buds off . I find that starting at the 60x instead of the 100x will make it easier and the bottom knob messes with the focus. but yeah I just magnifier i got at the clubs it's not as strong at all but it works just fine for checking trichs

well cutting the leaf of works perfectly. i just know need to learn what a milky trichome looks like and what a clear one looks like.

I find that trimming a piece of leaf smaller than the hole/viewfinder in the clear plastic on the microscope end and placing it on a piece of black paper works great. Use a pair of tweezers to manipulate the cutting. Set everything on a stationary surface, like a table top.

I just use a 30x jewelers lupe and that works the best i think it will not kill the eyes like the microscope. just my opinion.

ya. i was hesitant about cutting the leave off and using it. didnt wanna hurt my buds.. but it works perfectly and i cant complain. i got a technique now. i just place the leaf in the the the hole where the clear light protector is and place the microscope on a solid surface. i still cant identify a cloudy trichome. im hoping, well not really, but im hoping its because there all clear. i think there clear, i could be wrong. i spent 45minutes with the thing trying to look at my plants standing up, lmao. then i got two small leafs and was trying to figure out the best way to use the microscope. finally figured it out, so i just gave up and decided ill try in a few days and see what i can see. thanks guys, i appreciate the help :)
