How is she doing? (pics)

It's now been 10 days since she emerged from the soil.
It's a Afgani Kush x Black Domina.
How is she doing?

She looks healthy but I'm worried that she is too small, I've seen much bigger 10 day old seedlings, even with CFL.
Also, any idea what the yellow spot is?

It's been very close to 4 x 28w CFL bulbs and there is a good chance that she got a little burn, but if it's something worse then I'll look into it.

This is the Indoor Forum, so you appear to be in the right place.

That little lady is nicely bushy. This is something that I always like to see.

I am sure that things will speed up as she gets hold.

BTW: How cool is it in the grow area? Cold can slow growth.

CFLs are fine for Vegging....though you might need more as things progress.

I have a 600W HPS with two Kessil LEDs for flowering but have gotten
massive mothers to take clones from using only fluorescent T8 tubes.

Good luck,

JD

I've seen much bigger 10 day old seedlings, even with CFL.,,, and ? all plants are different , size now means nothing as long as its healthy and it clearly is
Also, any idea what the yellow spot is?,,, nothing to worry about

Thanks for the feedback Java. The temp under the CFL's is about 80 and drops to around 75 during the 6 hour shut off period.
I gave it a week of 24 hour light, it definitely started growing faster once I switched to 18/6. Rest helps.
And I made the mistake of putting the light too far away at first, it was real leggy so I had to bury her.

Cool beans Mog, thanks for the input.
I'm not stressing BTW, just being cautious. The seeds cost an arm and a leg and I wanna get it right first time.
And I'm glad you like my choice of strain, I did a lot of research before choosing.

coolio , try not to stress too much , no grows ever perfect , as long as the basics are there you will be fine

couple of tricks for you
repot it when the plants as wide as the container its in ( looking from above so you cant see any soil )
its hard to overwater if you mix in perlite ( very recommended at about 30% perlite to soil )
dont over feed , if you underfeed its a piece of piss to add more food but impossible to take away if you go the other way ,
yellow from the bottoms normal ( lack of light ) , yellow in the middle ( there hungry ) yellow at the top ( lights too close )

good luck , thats going to be an evil bastard of a smoke there , b/dom and kush ,,, take cover

Most expensive seed in the shop, no less! (that's not why I chose it FYI)
Some awesome tips there dude, thanks a bunch. The looking down on the plant trick is a keeper.
The feeding thing is difficult coz I used fertilised soil and it's hard to guess when the soil is running out of nutes, especially when you add repotting into the equation.
I don't like the idea of waiting for the plant to get hungry, even tho it's what everybody does.

Looking Good! BIG leaves indicates that the Indica traits are showing... that usually means they start out slow then grow in big bursts....
She's doin good!!!!!!

Good good. My first grow, I must admit at first I thought I was growing a stinging nettle but eventually it took shape.

No idea why that towelie comment appeared three times. I tried editing it and it added another. I tried deleting it and it added another.

Is the leaves drooping lower than the pot thing a bad sign?

I buried her a little because she was leggy but I think I may have buried too much.
