Hello Rollitup people, I just joined because i started my first grow and for sure will need some questions answered.

Any who, I am doing a closet grow of two AK49 Autos By Vision Seeds.
My lighting:
2 5600k 27w CFL
1 5600k 60w CFl
1 (more on standby) 2700k 20w CFL

They have a two week age difference. I unfortunately kept them in the "party cup" for to long and transplanted them a tad late (2.5 weeks), which i assume will affect the long term growth as well as me having them in the same pot. Im growing in only a space 24x36" so I am really limited on space, forcing me to have two in one pot. They look like theyre doing good to me but i need an experienced opinion.

The one infront of the brown light socket is going onto its 6th week while the other is on week 5.
heres both of them with a close up of the 6 weeker

I see one mistake already..why are you growing 2 plants in one pot?? your going to f*ck your root system up

I agree, growing 2 in one pot will give you all types of problems. The plants will be competing for root space, and if they get any bigger they will be competing with each other for growing space too.

I planted these from seed about that time 7-8 weeks ago, and it's just been topped and heavily defoliated so you can add a bit more height and extra girth to the picture.

I'm not suggesting that you do those things the picture is illustrative of what you can achieve in that time frame.

Have they improved in the 2.5 weeks since you transplanted them? Are you able to put them into separate pots? What soil and nutes are you using, and are you getting any air flow into your space?

your plants look healthy, although a little small,
the advise i have read is autos need to be palanted in the large pots from seed, they dont have the time to recover from transplanting

I am using DR Earth potting soil and organic promix. I have a fan blowing on them 24/7 and air the closet out twice a day. I have no real estate for another pot. They are in a 3 gallon together but i could put them in two milk jugs or something small but that would being giving the plants an average less area to grow right? (2 plants in a three gallon pot vs 1 pot in a gallon pot?)????
Around the first week of them being transplanted, they had dying/yellowing leaves and other signs of stress but they certainly have bounced back a whole lot in this past week and are all green and filled out and now appear to be working on vertical growth more than before .

Here is a size comparisons with a bic. Had to use flash because leaves made everything dark, so leaves look way more yellow than they are

It sounds like they were root bound then if they are doing ok now. The other problem you will get having 2 plants in one container is different plants have different needs.

Auto's don't like being transplanted but I would separate these two now while you still can, and learn from this mistake.

We can't see those attachments?
