How long are people waiting for to get their permits from H/C?

Wow! Some real discepancy eh! Nothing has shown up yet on my door but we're not at eight weeks yet. Maybe 6 weeks thus far.

Mailed my paperwork before Christmas. Called today for info and they're going to call me back within 5 days.

got mine today, they recieved it dec14th. Also they made my expirey all the way til march2014 (end of program)

I don't understand what you mean when you say it's all up to the doctor jessica. It's health canada that does the processing of applications until 2014. AFter that I'd certainly agree with you though. December 14th eh big manc? That's just over 6 weeks then. I hope mine comes sooner than later. Thanks for your posts. @buckets - perhaps you are still waiting due to your prescription amount that may have to be confirmed with your doctor by HC.

Health Canada takes a break mid december into january so your stuff probably got delayed. Dont count those weeks while they are on break.

the dr writes the scipt and infront of a judge is very well respected. hc is the pharmacy

Week 7 and still nothing has arrived by snail mail. Very frustrating. I'll wait one more weeka s they said it would take 8 weeks but after that I think I might to my _conservative_ mp and see if he can get them to hurry the hell up.

It seems as if first time applications take the longest. Renewals and changes take less. I just put in a renewal feb 8th mailed, let's see how long it will take to get back to me.

Hopefully you'll get it sooner than later. I'm still waiting for my first application...

ah Buckets I thought you were waiting on a renewal......well a new application can be up to 3 months! patients my friend it will come.

Oops. Sorry user hidden. I forgot to reply. I think now we're at 2.75 months and nothing has arrived as yet. I was going to phone H/C tomorrow and I was just going over this thread as I was sure somebody told me the number to call but I don't seem to be able to find it. Does anyone know the toll free number to call? I'll reread this thread a few more times. I'm missing it. I was sure it was here somewhere. Have a good week guys!

Hmm.. I believe the end of the program is in Sept 2014. So you having a license that is good for any longer than a year is suspect. I know they wouldn't issue you one for 1 yr + 8 months (till end of program), so even one for 14 months sounds strange.

The program end is in March. I'm in the industry it's all anyones fuckin talking about. All the big time growers are getting their shit in place with scientists and labs for testing. That'll be a requirement after march, to grow marijuana it will have to be tested in a lab by scientists for the chemical levels.

There is a lot of missleading post above.

The program does not end sept 2014. The last license to grow will be given Sept 2013. Also the program, for personal growing/ designated growing ends in March 2014. This is also if the PROPOSED CHANGES GO THROUGH. We as a people have been given the chance to voice our concerns, so there is a chance, the rules might go in anyones favor, a grandfathering system, or even the proposed changes. Nothing is Set in Stone till the New Guidlines are Set in place.

hey buckets, nothing yet eh? i wonder if your 40g a day has something todo with it. i do believe they read this site and i am sure they mit have noticed you paid 3k to get a increase from 20g-40g a day. i put my paperwork in jan 1and i got paperwork start of feb. anyways hope you get some answers. best of luck
