Hi there,

I have been smoking heavily for the past 1.5 years due to being a grower and such xD I just grow for myself basically not to get ripped off and i know what I am getting. Plus I just have a genuine passion for it. I really REALLY love weed lol.

Anyways the point is I have taken a break for a short while so I can get into work and such. I go back in a few short weeks and i am always paranoid about a drug test. They have never gave me 1 before and I have been at the job for 3 years so I shouldn't be too worried but I felt it was time for a break anyways as I have been smoking like 1-1.5 gram per day for 1.5 years.....

It was actually easy to stop even though I have some laying around the house (Bless weed you beautiful non addictive substance!) and I have just passed the 5 week mark but I still have this hazey feeling in my head that won't go away! and it bothers me that I am not returning to my normal self after all of this time...

I went to this marijuana calculator thing for drug tests and it said It should be around 75% clear from my system by 36 days in... but it does not feel like that at all. I will go back to work in 2-3 weeks and then I hope to smoke again as I have another crop on the horizon right now xD

But of course I am also hoping within the next 3 weeks I will finally start feeling sober. Has anyone been through this before and do you know how long it will take before I start feeling like my usual self again?....

Thanks forum. I appreciate it :)

It has a 60 day half life. I felt a little altered for more than a month when I quit before.

I quit for 22 years due to kids and such. Money priorities. It's overrated. I have the same drive with or without. I am driven by nature.
It is effective medicine for my wife and me. Her cysts have shrunk 40% in the last 6 months with no other treatment than cannabis infused coconut oil.

And I have congenital defects in my colon and without marijuana I live in great discomfort. The time I didn't smoke was the worst time for me.

At my age my Art Thritis is my enemy. Started about 6 or so years ago again. Feel much better. Just got done tearing a wood deck off of a wagon so I can replace it. Still going.

I have that onsetring early at every joint I beat up bad in my once active life.

Without the hybrids I am growing I wouldn't be able to do the work to grow them. Lol.

Nice project with the wagon. Always nice to make something good again.

just because you quit weed does not mean it could not be caused by something else. I would search for a medical opinion with anything pertaining to problems with primary senses.

I smoke almost only Swazi gold, wakes you up in the morning, fills your stomach for breakfast, make you do stuff and then make you hungry for supper and then sleepy for bed... perfect medicine.

I have tonnes of seeds if someone wants to do a swap someday... just make sure you can handle a long season, by us it is October to April.

Well just thought i would come back for an update. I am on day 60 right now... and I have indeed been feeling much clearer the past week or so... just recently though... even as far as 7 weeks in I still felt a bit of background effect lingering. But from day 55-60 I have been feeling much more sober and i believe it is slowly working its way out now...

Thanks for all the help and advice. I might even order a drug test online to confirm with myself that everything is clear again so then i can go back to work shortly and start blazing up again haha. peace :)
