How long can u keep Azatrol in the rez

I have 2 rooms side by side. 1 4x8 tray w/ 2 600hps in dirt. they are 4 weeks out from harvest. and the other room is a 4x4 flood tray filled with hydroton and 1 600hps ebb and flow. they are only 1.5 weeks into flower.

I noticed a thrip problem in the dirt room, i thought i had them knocked out from the clone room but they popped back up. The azatrol label has directions for a drench method, but i would like to add it to my rez in my hydro room so they dont just move next door. both rooms share the same lung room and ventalation. should i just run it for a day or 2 and change it out and back to nutes for a week and try it again for another day or 2? or just leave it in there?

I have used Azatrol in the past. I had an infestation of spidermites. I added the azatrol to my 55 gal res. It didn't make a difference really - at least once they're on there. Foliar spraying it really knocked them down. I had left mine in there for days - had to stay on the pH cause it raises but eh I bet you could keep it in for a week even at least at low to mid concentration.

But if I was doing prevention I would spray with neem oil reg and add azatrol into res reg and then shouldn't get too many bugs.
