Ok I'm 12 weeks in almost 13 weeks and the fan leaves are dying and most the hairs are red now. The problem is the trichs are still clear and standing straight up. On another post I asked about the leaves dieing and they said it looks like time to flush. But how long does it take for the trichs to go cloudy then amber?? I do not want to cut early I did that on 1 plant and it was shit. So any help would be appreciated.

Yeah it had skinny fingers but I think it might be a cross heavy sativa though

Yeah while MJ is an anual (plant that germinates from seed, blossoms, produces seed, and dies within one year) as indoor growers we are in charge of our garden. Most folks let the plant die as it flowers by starving it for N because of beliefs that it is normal (and outside in nature it is, why folks do it)

A keep em green grower will maintain thier garden in optimum fall like conditions not letting the plant experience winter (or death) we mix in feedings using veg nutes during flowering so that the leaves don't yellow as it is the leaves that make the plant bulk up the buds, we can then let the plant go for as long as it wants to to finish (we can also re-veg it and go again) and this makes buds much bigger in the end

I ran a class in my NooB Advice thread (first 40 pages) where these and other concepts are taught, I invite you to read it if your interested in getting more production from your garden :bigjoint:

Keep it growing, friend. If it looks weak and dying, hit her with some organics to boost her. You may harvest your plant over a period of a few days. You may find that the top half of your plant has fully matured trichs, but the bottom half still has clear trichs.

She'll let you know when she's ready. Patience is a virtue.(...and long, skinny fingered leaves IS a tell-tale Sativa characteristic... Indicas traditionally have fatter leaves.)

Good luck, brah!
