How long to dry a small nug(.5?) from my PC grow? almost harvest rdy

Thanks for stopping by. My plant is about 7-9 days from harvest and I wanted to know if I snipped off a small nug, would I be able to smoke it today? it's ok if it'll take 5-24 hours from now...i mean like a .5 .ThANKS

You can put fresh bud in a vaporizer, it still works. First couple hits will be ultra moist, but after that it's basically dried anyway. Flavor won't be as good as a proper dry, but neither will any quick dry method, so it's basically the same if you were gonna quick dry.

Smoking is a whole nother monster, I don't recommend smoking anything even quick dried... you want to cure out that chlorophyl...

will i lose potency? I really dont NEED to get SOME kind of high...if the high will only last an hour or so OR if i have to smoke a lot then i rather not even bother

i'm going to cure most of my plant. but if i lose potency with literally taking scissors, snipping it and sticking it in my vaporizer than I might as well dry ALL of it the correct way. But if I properly dry it by hanging it, dark room, air circulation, etc..will the potency be equal than snipping it right now and vaping? I just basically asked the same question twice haha

you can quick dry on top of your hood or ballast, but for 0.5 you may aswell just wait until your done will be better off

Potency will be the same or close to the same either way... trichomes will mature more during and ripen a bit during drying, but if you are harvesting close to your ideal ripeness anyway then it doesn't matter much at all. I wouldn't say that potency would increase, just a slight difference in the high would be felt.

The only reason to avoid trimming bud early is because that bud will be bigger at harvest, basically.

even if i'm going to harvest in like 9 days? I figured my yield was pretty much stalled out at this point. I really don't want to get a headache or have a very short lived high, anyone vape fresh off the stalk weed? Would a small nug need more than 24 hours to dry or size doesn't matter? I understand drying is so the weed somehow rids itself of chlorophyll...so i'm wondering if weed needs a set time being cut from it's stalk to get rid of this chemical regardless of the size or not? Just for the record my plant has some amber trichs
