How long to let them germ out of seeds?

I was just wondering how long you let the root get thats coming out of the seed before you plant it?

How about planting depth? I plan to do 50% perlite / 50% MG organic old for being seedlings.

You can plant them now.. Plant them about a 1/4 inch deep

Yeah plant them asap, 1/4 of ani inch and don't pack them in there, nice and loose. Looks like you got a 100% so far...

about 1cm is how long you want the taproot, 1/4" depth will do, 50/50 perlite will do will but you will have to water more often, make sure to keep your eyes on it, not at first, but after the plant roots the pot it will dry out quick.

Do i leave any light on them?

Say 1 26watt vegging CLF? Then use my normal light set up lighting once they get up and going?

Or should i leave them in the dark until they get to the surface?

Personally, after planting i have the light on them for 24 hours until they pop up and 18/6 thereafter.

Hey I started germinating some good seeds I've been saving but had to leave town for 6 days for work so now the tap roots are about 1 1/2 inches long & some of them are even forming leaves. What if I planted them in a nice mix does anyone think they would make it? I'm gonna trash them tonight unless some1 says otherwise

Yeah, if you planned on growing them in the first place, I wouldn't kill them until they die on their own or harvest. Good luck!
