How long to let them go through N deficiency?

Hi, I have 2 plants in my flower room that need to gtfo. First, one underwent alot of stress and went hermie and slightly pollinated other plants. 2nd, they are near the end, but not quite there yet, but I need to get them out anyways. The buds all have milky trichromes on them, but not amber yet. The 2 plants I am referring to have been undergoing N deficiency for a week and a half maybe now? Starting slow at first and progressing quicker. As the leaves die I have been removing them, letting the plant suck all the juices out of the leaves its killing. I plan to take one down Sunday night, and the larger one down Wednesday night.

For TL;DR ppl: Is it better the more the plant yellows, or is there a good time when you need to harvest based on the life (and color) of the plant. (I know it is usually judged by trichrome color, but trichromes don't matter here, I'm dealing with hermies they are coming out early anyways).

My question is, since the majority of the plant is tinted yellow, giving the plant a very light lime green appearance, should it be allowed any more time or will this produce unwanted qualities in my bud? I feel like the loss of color is good, less clorophyll hopefully better taste and ease of smoke, they all stink real good. Since some leaves have small necrotic patches from the deficiency, or overall look unhealthy, I am wondering if these type of leaves would be affected in the smoke of the bud. Mind you most of the leaves I'm referring too will be trimmed.

I'm not sure what you are asking (sorry for my english).

Last harvest, I had one plant which was very yellow, even the small leaves connected directly to the buds where going yellow and even crispy. But the buds were fine to smoke, I only lost some yield. So I don't think you need to worry.

BTW: In my case, I ignored the yellowing and harvested when it was ripe. Of course, your plant might be worse off.

Yeah my plant is at the stage you are describing, maybe a just a step before. May I ask why you lost some yeild? I can't imagine the buds shrunk, or was it due to chopping early? For me i'm not concerned about the yeild loss, its a hermie anyways so it HAS to get out.

When I think about it, the reason I got less yield was probably not related to this issue. To be honest, I'm not sure.

I did harvest when it started to progress into the the buds, but it was time anyway (I was lucky, got problem late in the bloom).

Same here, mine is 10-12 days of being fully mature, thats not TOO bad. The buds look nice, although without the hermie problem I imagine WAY more trichromes and some bigger nugs. Right after I noticed it was starting to grow hermie, thc and intense swelling slowly came to a grinding halt.
