How long to veg

Hi all need some advice if some one can help. I'm growing a vip northern from vip seeds. She has popped here head above ground three days ago. Il be transplanting in 2 weeks in to 15l pot.

300 watt led veg and then adding 180 watt ufo led when it's flowering time. How long would I need to veg four to get about 5-6 oz???
Will be buying a co2 bag next week that says it can last up to six months. Any help on the veg time will be great. Also will be topping and super cropping for the first time to .

5-6 zips, assuming a solid grow with very little issues, about a month to a month and a half for most. I'm not familiar with that strain, but a lot is going to depend in the grow itself.

Topping is pretty self explanatory. Just make sure you don't take the growth tips at the node you're cutting and you'll be fine.

Supercropping, just pinch the selected branch where you want (pinch hard to collapse the internals) and then work it back and forth gently into the light. Try not to split the outside. If you do, coat it in honey and tape it up. Support it if the tape won't hold it in place.

Just go slow and be patient and you'll be alright.

1 seed, 480w LED, 5-6oz's--Sorry but this will not happen. Topping and supercropping will certainly increase yield. But, not nearly that much.

Why not? Granted I don't run LEDs, so i may be out of the loop there, but it's possible with 400W of HID and one plant.

How much do you think I could get this is my second grow last grow was in a 10 litre with four weeks veg not topping or super cropping the strain was pineapple chunk. Got an oz and half off it.
I have always had a calmag problem but got some cal mag this time. Also molasses and some jungle juice bloom

168 grams from almost 500 watts of light and you say no way?! What a clown.... 5-6 ounces should be easy enough with a month or two of veg time... Don't listen to @$bkbbudz$ a well accomplished grower can attain 1-2 grams of dried product with every watt of light used.

To the OP ..Good Luck and Great Growing.

Veg all 4 for 4 weeks or (6-8 nodes), put some effort into canopy control and healthy properly fed plants, your probably looking at 4 +/- zips depending on your actual setup

Did you see his lights? It's NOT 500 watts and 2gpw is retarded to be telling people this with childs play led's. Im thinking more like 280watts actual draw from both panels total.

I won't grow any plant in less than 300 actual watts

Am thinking 8 to 10 weeks veg all so have a couple of CFls that I can use too in flowering.

With CFL and the leds it will be around 560 watts

what well accomplished growers do you know that run "child's play" LEDs?
if his panel is 280 actual watts and he even gets 1/2 gram per watt he's still hitting his mark of 5-6 oz....

I got 1 gram per watt in 5 sq ft (2'x2.5' area, QP off of a 90w draw LED) on my first grow with autos. I have no doubt I'll hit that next run.

Admittedly, it's absolutely shit weed, but it's smokeable.

While yes you have a general point, lets stay within the reality boundaries of the OP's setup. He has an estimated 280 watts over 4 gallon pots! 4 of them. I'll give that area a 3x3 estimate. 280x9=2520 .numbers like this in too big of a footprint makes it fucking hard to hit 1+gpw.
