Its been 2 days since i transplanted into 3gal buckets. Its day 21. Im using a promix, perlite, vermiculite, wormcasting soilmix. Im also adding some Rapidstart in the first few waterings after transplant.

When should i start adding nutes? Immidiatly or should i wait a few weeks so the plant uses whats already in the soil?

How old is the plant?
If it's no longer a seedling then you should start the plant on a feed schedule right away.
Imo I would go light on the nutes in the beginning and then increase or decrease the amounts by how the plant reacts to them.
Your plants will tell you if they're getting too much or too little of something.
Peace and good luck with your grow

Learn basic plant biology, nutrition and soil composition. Start with the wiki entries and go from there until you can answer your own question. I know its not what you want to hear but it will serve you much better than asking advice in a mj forum.

It will make you a better grower and smarter too!

The down side is that you will be frustrated to no end with the misinformation and mythology tossed around as fact in the grow community.

I disagree with that statement.
I have gotten a ton of help from these forums and have never had to go to wiki or any other google site.
Why go hunting around web sites to get your info when you can go to the forums here and find answer to any grow problem or situation you have.
I like getting my info from those that have real life experience.
I will never send someone to a web site, that's just lazy.
If you can't take the time to help someone then why say anything at all.
Peace

That is so true, stick to the forums and read what others are doing for your particular situation and you will be able to fix it or find the answer you need.

True MYOB, but every answer leads to new questions which only allow me to learn. :)

FWIW I start nutes at a couple weeks of age from seed @ 25% concentration. By a month old I use 50% and into flower I'm at 75%-100% recommended dosing. I never water without at least 50% nutes past seedling stage. My current batch I'm in mostly FFOF and if you look you're not gonna see any "burn" anywhere. Just my experience.

21 days is a good time to seriously start feeding them, as long they were in good soil from the start. As mentioned previously, I would start at 25% for now and gradually increase to 75% of full strength by bloom time, and maintain that. I never personally go to 100% of suggested dosage, it is just safer, and it works fine for my plants. Peace
