How long will I have to veg clones before starting 12/12? To receive a decent yield

I wanted to start a system with a mother plant and keep cloning and flowering asap. Does anyone have any idea on how long the clones should be kept in veg to yield a decent amount.(ideally close too or more than autos) mother will be kept under 250watt cfl and the clones under 1-2 600 watt hps, all I'm grow tents. Any advice or experience please share

I think these kinds of questions don't have a "one size fits all" answer! If you use training methods, then you should wait enough for your techniques to really pay off and your plants to recover. It's more dependent on how you veg than how long you veg!

I normally let my clones go for about 4-6 weeks. Like @Hessam said the weeks vary based on what ever training you chose to utilize!
Ive started just picking up teens instead of clones to save myself a couple weeks!

When your clones get rooted i would say not to top as topping slows down growth by 1-2weeks depending on the health and size of your plants. Anyway i would try to LST them down and give maybe a month or so of veg time. this also depends heavily on your strains as to how much stretch you will get in flower. don't pack your tent full before you 12/12 or you will be having some major issues.
certain clones i take i give no veg time because of ceiling issues and others ill give 1-2 mos maximum

I agree, I've had good results from using LST on past crops. I will try to always have a bunch of strains, always trying something new! But the mother I use will be the strongest cheese strain I can find.
