How long you vegging for?

We all now that you can veg pretty much as long as you want. Lets get an idea of what the average veg time is.

i veg for about 2 months usually. i want to my plant to go to it's full potential. i don't know why some ppl rush there nature and wonder why they don't have a great yield

I usually veg for 2 weeks because it takes typically 21-27 days for the plant to show sex so ill just 24/0 the plant for 2 weeks and then flip 12/12.

I use to veg none but I see thats not good because growth happens much much slower... even if you wre doing 12/12 from seed.

My option is not up there.

Currently I don't veg at all because I have been doing autoflowers.

I am setting up a mini SOG op and plan on veggin' for 1-2 weeks.

It always is amusing when someone says "mess with nature". If you do anything to your plant, you already interfered with nature. Once you bought the seeds you already went against nature.

Also, I have never had a problem with yield. ;)

It always is amusing when someone says "mess with nature". If you do anything to your plant, you already interfered with nature. Once you bought the seeds you already went against nature.

Good point I forgot to put 0 weeks, my bad. And your right about messing with nature. You're already messing with nature by growing indoors.

Edit: Actually I just saw. First option is 0-1 weeks.

I put down 2-3 weeks, as with my current grow.

But I've gone 4-6 week on some sativas and grew some monsters.

Now I prefer the 8 Week Indicas :joint:

I'd say 3 weeks since i have only so much space, but you could grow them short even if you were veg for 6 or more weeks, seeing if you train them right.

I'm on my 4th grow and and I'm leaning towards the 2+months mark, tried flowering clones and tried waiting till the plants show sex but i think a happy medium is around the 2 month mark. It allows them to mature and increases the yield if you have the room. Its really an ever ending choice tho especially if your constantly growing different strains.

i push for a 2 month veg (with topping and LSTing involved) in my dwc buckets, with soil i grow fer a flavor, not so much of harvest, so about a month veg.

I veg for 6 -8 weeks, with topping/fimming. I need lots of branches to fill my scrog. I keep them under 12" till flower.
