hey growers.
i have few mothers that are healthy and have 2 months of veg already.
each mother plant have 14 branches i can cut, and 4 small branches that are still too small to be cutted.
what is the maximum number of clones i can take from a plant at once?
my goal is to get as many clones as i can, with a guarantee that my mother plant will remain alive)))
will be happy to see some advices from ya

I'd say whatever you're comfortable with. If it makes you feel better, stagger em. Cut 4 today, wait a few days, cut 4 more, and so on.

If you want more cuts, you have to grow the mom out longer, bigger. Or go bonsai style. There's no limit really, except the amount of space or time you can give her.

Or you can take a cuts, and make one of the cuts your new mom. Repeat ad nauseam.

I would imagine so, but the more you take, the harder she'll have to work to recover. Is there a certain number you need at one time? Or are you just wanting a lot to make sure a couple clones survive? If you have to have a lot at the same time, you may be best off taking several and letting them grow into mothers and then take clones from them. Or just let your mother grow for a while longer.

When my mom's get too big I lop off the top of them only leaving a bit of leaves and a few small branches. They won't need as much water, or light, and will take some time to get going again but they will. Once they recover they grow fast.
There is no actual answer to your question. You can take as many as you can get. Just leave a bit of growth on there so she can keep on living.

I’d wait til the branches each had their own satellite branches that you could use for cuts. Then take the tops, and leave at least 1 small branch, or growth coming in on the bottom.
I’ve taken over 60 cuts from a solo cup mother plant I’ve had around for the last year. 57B1D3DC-C2FB-4C68-851E-1BD2BDF51071.jpeg

It is said; when you're prunning a plant, not to take more than 25% of the folage. I would say the same is true when you're cutting clones.
