It gets worse haha. Cheap and cheerful diy using citizen is a thread you could read on those cobs.or click on @CobKits name and then click on his post# and you will see all his posts covering the cob.very similar to cree in performance and voltages,the 1212 that is.

Had to get that in there before we lose another one to the dark side :(

want to give me the summary/birds eye view of the whole debate? or point me to a fairly objective source? my understanding is that a lot of the "data" is based on extrapolation of manufacturer data? I'm trying to piece together a kit, but there is a lot to consider..

hey, cool, thanks cob!. I'll stay tuned. I had seen the growmau5 videos and he had earned a good bit of my respect for his efforts. He seemed pretty fond of the cxb's and i wasn't sure if that was just something he was comfortable with, or if he had great reasoning for preferring them..
