We've already had 1 frost a few nights ago.Early for this time of year on the east coast of Canada. They've only been flowering for about 3 weeks now and I'd hate to pullem out early. The buds aren't as big as I wish. The weather is warming up this week and hpoefully stays warm until early october.Would should I do if another frost hits?

I've had experience with frost...they can survive a light frost, the guard leaf takes the most damage, most indica and indica dominate strains can be pretty hardy.if your plants do die from freezing the smoke will still be good just cure it properly.good luck :)

It was a light frost we had,so hopefully the last one for a few weeks. The guy I bought them from(clones) said they could take a couple of frosts.
Thanks for the info.

this is a little dramatic and maybe a little risky of mold but I can check on it 24/7 so its all good for me...but yea frost is becoming a problem for me I'm in the same boat...need a little more time...

cut slits in the plastic so the plant can breathe, especially towards the bottom... put black plastic on the ground, and put warm mulch on the top with stones/pebbles mixed in... will mold if you do that and there isn't slits in the plastic both on bottom and top!

i have a sweet setup i use with a tarp for the rain, i'm not really worried to much about cold, they can handle it, temps don't really drop near the coast of ct so they will be ready before the first frost,
