How many mothers for 30 clones a month?

1 will do it you keep growing out the mothers. 30 a month seems about right

Are these all going to be taken in a single pass?
If so 4-5 would be better to give you some extras if you have a strike rate less than 100% you will want extra. A surplus of vegetation allows you to select only the best growth tips for cloning (1/4" stem thickness, 7-8" tall) Also gives you some flexibilty in case of any disasters with mums or clones.
