how many of you actually cure for 1+months?

I usually cant help myself after like a week! Lol I ask because I have to stop smoking for 2 months bc of a job and I just harvested about 2oz early May.

does a 2 month cure vs 2 weeks really make a big difference? I'm debating selling it or waiting the 2 months for personal use (I grow outdoors multiple harvests using clones and light deprivation so having bud is not an issue, I just could never wait and have a chance to now by force)

Thanks guys

@DynaRyda what's up man? Bored like me waiting for football season? Haha your 2 week slow dry is just as good as a cure because I know you hang your whole plants before trimming and the leaves form that lovely cocoon around the buds and gets em ready for ya...thanks for chiming in bud

@barnbuster you have some serious will power dude, I would never wait 6 months...I ALMOST don't believe you lol

@Mwooten yea man some sort of cure (like Dynas or jars) definitely makes things a lot better

If you grow the whole year you can cure even for years, but if you grow once, it's kinda impossible to wait 6 months.

I slow cured last years crop and I'm seriously glad I did. After 3.5 months curing it was ideal for my needs. The slow cured bud is really smooth compared to the stuff I dried and smoked after harvest.

If you find you aren't able to wait why don't you take out "enough" to get you through while the remainder of the harvest cures?

You'll be glad you did, I was

The last of my 2011 crop just got used up a couple months ago. The stuff that cured for over a year was superior to the fresh stuff in taste and smoothness.

I've got a few jars here that have been closed since oct 2012. The smell and smoothness definitely gets better.

The longer you cure the smoother and better tasting the bud gets. I go 1 month MINIMUM on all my crops minus a little maybe just to smoke on for the time being.

I noticed that after just 4 weeks there was a large improvement. My blue dream that smelled like a pine tree at harvest started to smell like blueberries. My cheese that smelled like skunk at harvest began to smell like stinky stale Cheetos. After that the progress was much slower.

I had a bag of the cheese in my car the other day and the car still smells like it two days later. It didn't do that when it was fresh.
