I would start off with just 2 plants, and if they turn out to be both female you'll see how big they get, don't go by what they say. I have a 4oo watt and find it hard to grow 4 plants under it.

a 250watt hps is fine for 4 plants, u wont get big dense buds like if u only grew 1-2 but you will get great results

IMO, 4 is about right...odds are one of your plants will be males, if not two. Put all of them under there..you will be fine. I grew 12 with a 600W. GL on the grow!

We if your looking to follow standard blueprint then a minimum of 50w per sq ft is needed. 250w/50w per sq ft= 5 sq ft. So to get the best use of your light a cab of 2.5'x2.5' max or any other variation of 5 sq ft is necessary . At 1 plant per sq ft = 5 plants.. I'd go with 4 to allow plants to bush a little if necessary . Though you wouldn't get great penetration, a good lst or scrog would be your best bet.. Good luck!
