How many plants per 3x6 table?

I have two 3x6' tables, I am running a DTW system, and have manifolds built for each table that feed 32 sites each. However even in a SOG style it seems that 32 plants per 3x6 was WAY too hard to control and work with. Ended up with bugs and that was a nightmare. Since then I knocked it back to 20 per table, is this more feasible, or should I go down to 16?

Just because I know someone is going to ask about lighting, there is 1600w over each table, 600 on the front side of each table for the new additions to the room and 1000 on the back side of each table to finish them off.

The less plants you do the more veg time you'll need. ...for example sog you don't need veg time, but when you reduce your plant count then maybe you add veg time. I run a 3×6 table. Dtw, hand feed and I have 36 plants. Somewhat a sog but I veg the rooted clones I think 2 weeks. I would normally do 110-120 plants sog style but I currently am waiting on my moms to get bigger. Why did you have bug problems?

Honestly the bug problems was a result of my neglect. Due to working 60+ he's a week I was not keeping an eye on things as I should and it got out of hand. It is fully under control now though. I have about 20 per table with a 3 week veg time per. Gives room for light to penetrate and for me to see what is going on with each plant.

Interesting. My answer would have been to veg for an extra week and ScrOG just six plants per table...

Lots of different ways to skin that cat, I guess.

3 rows of 7 plants for a total of 21. Open tube manifold. No dripper. They just get clogged. But use the quarter inch valves so you can adjust the flow rate. Without compensating emmiters the first few sites will get most of your feed. One gallon pots of coco coir/perlite. Find the right hybrid variety that does EXACTLY what you want (monocrop). Use a net trellis. Use open hoods and a sealed controlled growroom with co2. Sante fe, and mitsubishi. Manage your canopy. Watch your climate. Watch your ph. Dont feed over 1.8 ec. Stay away from additives in the reservoirs until you got it dialed. Keep a super clean room like its an obsession. 5 pounders (every 4 600 watters 3x6 tables side by side) harveys was the norm every 60-70 days with the right one. Get your trim crew on deck and while they get busy your cleaning up, loading up for another rip. It never stops. I did this for years. Now i got patients. I dont really make jack shit. And when this shit finally goes legal all i will have are good memories and useless skills
