What is the max amount of plants i can have under a 400 watt hps. I have enough room for 10 but i'm thinkin just 4 or maybe 6. Any suggestions? i have them in individual buckets.

How big are they? I'd recommend putting about 4-6 plants under a 400W HPS, anymore and the other plants on the side won't get the necessary amount of light they need, which meand they'll eventually stretch to get light. Have you looked into getting a 1000W?

ya i have 3 plants going now but vegged them for way too long now i have swamp monsters in my closet lol....but like the first guy said it really depends on the size of the plants and keep in consideration that you want the light to get good canopy penetration so that lower buds get enough light as well... also I have a growlab 120 in the mail so i think that will increase the potential of the 400w since i am currently operating out of a small closet w/ no mylar

also rotating plants in circles and also rotating the order of the plants (moving outside plants inside/ vice versa) will help to prevent uneven growth of the outside plants, probably an obvious statement but im high and it sounded helpful haha

Nice, Thanks definitly. I'm gonna veg for about 2 more weeks or so. Right on laxstar, sounds good! I'm gonna go with 4 for now and see how it turns out. All the clones are between 55-65 days of flowering too so that help a lil. Thats true Mr. S&H, i rotate my plants twice a day to get every part its share.
