I only do 4-6 plants but i let them grow to 12-15 inches before I flower them. all depends on reflector and if your using a light spreader.

There's a lot of variables involved like genetics, plant size etc. Its kind of up to you.
You can grow large plants and just grow 3-4 at a time. Or grow smaller plants using clones and grow more plants.

Im using a 400 watt HPS for flowering. I grow perpetually using clones that I start flowering at 1 foot tall. I have 10 in the flower closet at all times, keep i mind 2-4 of the plants will only be 1-2 feet tall.

Under a 400 watter.. I would say 4 plants max for the best light coverage/yield... You dont wanna crowd your plants together.

Genetics has a lot to do with it. You could plant 20 autoflowering plants in beer cups and get 10 oz., legit, EASILY. Or.. 2 monstrous sativas. Average size, non-autoflowering, 5-6? Depends on your space, heat, reflective materials? Too vague here with the question.. Sorry.
