I have ordered my heatsinks/fan combos grow Amazon and purchased a led driver from fleabay. It is a China special and this is the description.
LED Power Supply Driver 100W For 100Watt High power LED Light Lamp Bulb 85-265V.
How many vero 29s can I run with this driver? Any and all help/ suggestions is welcome. Also the fan/heatsinks are the article alpine 64s. Do I need a driver to run these? Thanks a million guys!:-D:joint:

Thanks friend. Would you recommend getting 2 veros and picking up the mean well or use the el cheapo and buy 4 veros?

You need to check the drivers current too. Based on what you've said the current is probably around 2.8-3 amps and would only be good for running 4 in parallel at 25 watts each. The CEN would probably be more reliable and if you want to run only 2 your best bet would be the 100-42 which would drive them at about 40 watts each.

Ordered 2 vero 29 3000k yesterday and will be in my mailbox Monday. I am going to use the cheap driver I have. Probably not the best setup but it has to be better than the cheap circus lights that I am using now.

Damn boys I am about in business. I am already pondering on 2 more vero 29 3000k, 2 vero 18 5000k for a little blue, and 1 cree 3590 2700 for a center piece. Can I drive those LEDs with one of these? http://m.ebay.com/itm/Mean-Well-MW-48V-7-3A-350W-AC-DC-Switching-Power-Supply-NES-350-48-UL-PSU-/221275928357?nav=SEARCH

Thanks go out to all of you guys for sharing your knowledge with us.
That is definitely enough power, and the Voltage is high enough, but Ill let someone else reply about mixing the Cree and Vero on one driver. I know the Vero Vf is higher and wired in parallel I think the Cree will see same Vf as Vero.
This is out of my knowledge range, although I do have plans to run CXA3070 and CXB3070 on same driver, which is a similar situation so I am interested in the answer also,

image.jpeg image.jpeg Well guys I built my first DIY led. She's not a monster but I believe it will be an upgrade from my other fleabay lights. Two Vero 29s driven by one 100 watt driver. She worked as soon as I plugged her in. That in itself is a major accomplishment. She looks pretty good.

Just a few more parts and I will be building my second diy light. My plants seem to be loving the new light. I replaced a vipar 300 watt withe the first light and will be replacing a 200 watt unbranded light with the next one. My next light will consist of 2 vero 29 3000k and 1 vero 29 5000k. Each Vero will be on its own 50 watt driver. Here are the girls after just 5 days under the new light.image.jpeg
