How much can you really tell about ultimate potency from lower leaves??

Just wondering cause I've been manicuring some on my 2 month old girls, and wonder if what I'm sampling is ANY indication of eventual full potency bud strength

Do the lowers say anything about ultimate smoke quality?

Not really

but I can say that the bud grown properly will be 100 times better after it is cured properly

What I've noticed is that the smoke is very weak but seems to have the characteristics (in this case big bang's mellowness) it's supposed to produce. Looking forward to a few months from now... but still wish it were a bit stronger right NOW
