My first grow closet was pretty cheap. I just harvested a week ago and I ended up with 130 grams dry, from 2 plants.

250W HPS Ballast (came with a MH & HPS bulb) - $130
Miracle Grow chem nutes (did the job) -$15
A Few pots - $5
PH Down - $8
PH Tester - $10
Miracle Grow Soil - $10
Fan -$10
Visqueen Plastic - $5
Adjustable Straps & Hooks - $6

TOTAL = $184 CAD !!

Its been a week since the harvest and everything has already paid for itself. :weed:

Haha probly about 3k+ for me on my upcoming growcab, and its still not even completed quite yet.

I figure, if you wanna do it right, do it right the first time, after your first harvest you can recoup any costs.

You will always be able to look back after hastily buying equipment and find better deals out there, but don't beat yourself up over it cuz money should cease to be an issue in the coming months.

:peace: out.

Thats approx the same amount I spent on my cab set up too, I wish I had known about the extra modification I would need to make. Do you have a pic of your cab? Im just wondering if its the same as mine.

Hey man i recommend from my point of view to just try it out. It takes a little more than a first try to get it going. Learn how plants grow and watch them. Do some hands on work it takes time so be ready to commit. You will have too spend a few more bucks man unfotunately thats how the cookie crumbles. But i was in your shoes a couple years ago now i have pretty much all i need. Over time it will come so keep working to buy more supply, because some things are necessary for DANK Buds.. so Hang in There.. and Good luck.. remember your first is not always the best.. Peace:peace: and Goodsmoking...bongsmilie

8k-9k, maybe a little more,,,,,,,,, so far.

lot of stuff i bought got tossed aside because it did not work. or because it went against my mantra. kiss.

i should have an equipment sale one of these days,,,,,,,,

got to thinking the other day that i need another grow shed. got some neat ideas from an east coast company that converts towable trailers into grow rooms.

pricey stuff.

i'm looking at a budget of 10-12 k on the new shed this spring.

and yeah, Red's gonna peel her pound of flesh outta my backside fer sure on this
one,,,,,,

My first indoor setup ever was like six to seven hundred bucks. Two 600hps, Panda film, Soil/Nutes and 20 Clones. A friend recently setup his first indoor ever and prolly spent upwards of 5 grand. Two flowering rooms with 3 1k hps in each and a veg room with a 1000w mh plus all the goodies to go with. Shit better go good or he's out on the street lol.

Its too bad you gave up. With a little experience, effort and more money, you could actually be self sufficient given the right locale to grow. IMO growing allows people freedom from assholes who charge too much for herb. Maybe the PC case will get you by for the time being. :blsmoke:
