How much does it cost you to produce one pound of herb?

Should also consider groceries, cuz with out food one could not have the energy to garden. So thats like 300 a week...
Well...youre mockery is letting your ignorance show of business/finance. Of course you have to feed yourself whether you grow or not. So it is an unrelated cost and wouldnt be tracked.

But ALL RELATED COSTS should be and in business they are, often because tax credits are associated with them. You dont track thise costs and miss out on credits then you go out of business because your competition is. It is that simple. Even the blackmarket has caught on to this and gangs like HA and so on operate on corporate procedures and math.

I dont know how any of this isnt blantantly obvious...

All these dudes saying they can trim a p in 4 hours I am loling. Consider yourself hired . Takes my fastest dudes about 7 hours to do a pound of OG. Closer to 8-10 for sativas. I wet trim . I pay 200-230 per pound to the trimmers, but I am picky it has to be perfect. I used to pay hourly and I was getting fucked.
I think most of you are in denial about your run costs. If I don't get over a pound per light I worked for free

So....you can ridicule and thats cool.

But i cant respond with an observation...that you claim to be an insult?

Truth be known...i didnt mean to insult you. I shouldve chosen my words more carefully.

Pardon me but what is the pic suppossed to prove? Even IF they are your numbers?

Maybe you can grow well, but that doesnt mean you know business operations....

Did i run into another guru here that has so many followers that i cant say anything remotely negative about without getting flammed?

And when you quoted me in post #101 you actually thought i was trolling. You were singling me out to try to shit on me. And please don't say "if those are my numbers". I wouldn't say that to you. And you know what those type of numbers mean. I love you dude, I really want t work through this funk you and i are going through.

I'm in Nor Cal and trimmers get $200 per lb. I've had 2 trimmers trim and separate 4 lbs in 12 hrs. Security is another cost that can get expensive, although usually just a one time expense. I've still never actually written down all my expenses to produce but the first year is by far the most expensive. Costs drop pretty dramatically after initial equipment is purchased and you begin to dial-in your grow. I can only say for sure that I'm paying at least $250 per lb.

I don't care much for having nug tested. There is youtube videos about the nonsense of the readings. Same nugs that used to read as 11% now saying 22%. It's like they recalibrated everything.

All in all, if your trying to impress a club and want them to take you on as a vendor. Let your product sell itself. Dress presentable, bring more than a few pounds so they know you mean business. Have variety, make your bag appeal outstanding. Then ask to see there best top shelf nug. If yours is better than you have leverage. A thc percentage isn't going to change anything in my opinion. Most clubs have there cap and they don't go higher.
Mongo are you getting donations higher than 28'from clubs? I'm just curious

What about dirt? Stuff from the backyard?

You must just yank fan leaves and call it good.

If ones is testing off the charts you will be real surprised on how you get treated. If you have never done it, like most have not and i was only suggesting that most should. With all due respect i don't like talking about prices of things. But if you grew my fire og cut and test well you would be getting more then 28. Leverage is having something they don't have on the board. Hight THC numbers matter bro. Im more into getting clean medicine out. The rest of the stuff falls into place.

I see no reason for you to apologize. He was ridiculing the thread, and then got butthurt when you held him accountable for it.

Ignore the whiners, they don't run businesses, they run hobbies.

Those who know the difference will be obvious enough.

Where I live, more than 28 right now does not exist unless you are going through someone without a dispensary . If I am mistaken I would love to know some clubs that appreciate the farmer going above and beyond, because I feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick. I don't cheap out on anything and it shows in my quality. But going out of my way to get something tested and spending my money to do so is not worth my time when I don't know any clubs where it would matter .

Exactly none of this rises to the level of a cost per unit of goods sold analysis.

Cost of what per unit? You have never had your stuff tested. Quit trying to sand bag me calling me hobbies or some shit you said. Don't get mad man. Your barking up the wrong tree.

If you re-read my post I actually said " I know I pay at LEAST $250". The trimmers are pros, been trimming in Nor Cal for over 15 years, work year round, and they do excellant work. They probably make more than a lot of growers. Why the attitude anyway?

That's just it. I'm not mad, pissed, angry or even emotional.

The simple fact is that the man asked how much it costs you to grow a pound of weed and you haven't (can't?) answer him. I'm pointing out that the person who doesn't know their costs is vulnerable.

I have plenty of ideas to sell to those who DO the math, but your oppositional opinion remains valuable to me- as an example of the kind of competitors who'll get crushed sooner rather than later.

I'm not disputing the quality of your produce, I'm saying you never answered the man's question- instead, you belittled it. Joke's on you.

The difference between a business and a hobby is understanding your costs.

You've made it plain you don't understand the concept, let alone its value.

I haven't insulted you, I've just called you out on your attitude.

It's insulting to see such a stupid statement . It costs me 15k to do a run so when people say they do it for pennies it's pure nonsense. If you don't know your overhead then better to just not answer. At least 250.. No shit
