My plan is to have a perpetual harvest from soil using 2L bottles in a SOG I can fit 9 bottles in a 1'x1' sqr, I have a 400 watt hps light to flower with that Ive heard is good for a SOG up to 4'x4' now is there a plant limit or with adequite air flow can I have as many as I can fit in my 2.5' x 2.5' sqr

you just stated so many dimensions I cant tell what the hell your asking

...the thicker the garden, the less the light gets to the lower part of the plant. If your going to cram them like that, I'd remove like 2/3 of the plant, everything but the main stem, to get the main cola only, IMO.

Hey bro,

Even though you may be able to fit that many 2L bottles in the area, the plants' canopy will take up at least double the radius, and that's if you're using cuttings, not from seed,(I assume you are). Def going to want to stick to a shorter plant.

It would be efficient, and inexpensive. 4x4 is a good grow area for a 400, they say 3x5, so that's basically the same thing. I use a 400 in a cabinet, and you can grow good amounts of killer smoke and still control the heat, which tends to be a greater challenge when you step up to the 600+ wattage systems.
