How much light is enough?

growing 5 auto flowering Wappa's in a small cabinet with 11 2ft HO T5s (5 as a canopy and 3 on front and back walls for surrounding light). 7litre pots, nutes In 1.25L of water every 4th day, watering every 4th day too.

I've been told my T5s will be enough for flowering......and also told they will not. I could fit another two in if need be. What's everyone's thoughts on Using T5s all the way through?

I would tie those girls down, drop the lights closer for an more even canopy and go for it, you might be surprised what those T5s can do with a little practice...

I've got them tied down as much as I can (I started late - never grown or done lst so I dropped the ball there). But the main stem is bending over and folding like a straw - is that alright? I read that it's fine and not to worry but I can't help it.

If I can get the lights lower I will - I've got a few red spectr bulbs coming in the mail this week and will add those to the mix asap.

Thanks for the advice!

all about what bulbs you use, quality can be awesome
Yeah I feel like density/yield is more work than quality with CFL due to low light output. The spectrums on them are much betterthan hps if spectrum was the only factor lol, so quality should definitely be there.

I've got 11 2ft T5s going, so 24watts each makes like 265 in a space that's not even 3ft sq. I'm fine with less density if the quality is there. Will be switching out 4 of the bulbs for red spectrum this weekend. Hopefully that's enough...

I'm trying to stick to a budget for now. I'll post a pic of my setup w/out the plants to see what everyone thinks of the lights/size ratio.

Really appreciate all the comments from everyone, this forum is teaching me so much so quickly. I can see this becoming more of a hobby for me, on top of just doing it for cheap bud.
