how much longer til harvest?

The first female plant I've ever had, has been flowering for about 30-40days now.

SOME (like 1%) of the hairs have started changing colors. About how much longer will it be until harvest?

Going by the seed manufac. days -- I should only have about 20 left... does that sound reasonable if I'm JUST now seeing some color change?

I mean, I know it's a couple weeks at a min away...

But to "flush" I kinda have to know a rough estimate. All crystals are crystal clear still.

That buds pretty big, like tennis ball size, it's gotten 3x thicker over last week.

i think a lot of the greenhouses that produce the seeds list flower times going by the first sign of flowers forming not when you switch to 12. It also depends on the environment you have. If its far from perfect you can add some days onto your time also. I wouldn't go by the seeds recommended times just keep an eye on the trichs and you'll be good to go. The first time you see any amber its time to kill her. You want all cloudy fat heads on your trichomes. Your hairs will be usually at least like 80 percent brown depending on strains. I went to radio shack and bought a hand held 100x microscope that lets you see every trichome crystal clear. There only 12 bucks and there is no guess work after that. Good luck.

Pix with the light off would be nice for judging color.

You should start seeing a few brown pistils by this time. From the time she starts setting buds, flowers are appearing, ripening and 'finishing' with brown pistils. During full flowering, she grows new flowers faster than the old one's turn brown so the buds are mostly white. Come close to harvest and the bud production starts to slow and the brown pistils start to dominate.

I always look both at the quantity of brown pistils and the quantity of fresh buds.

And yeah, I wouldnt even bother to check for another 3 weeks.

Flower times quoted by the breeders. Mine always take longer. Bear in mind these are expert growers and they know the strain very well. Furthermoe the time quoted is probably for hydro which is always faster

Don't try and put an exact timetable on it, just keep on top of it and the plant will let you know it's ready.

IMO flushing does little, but if you want to do it wait til the buds are fully formed but still ripening. No need to flush any further away from a week before harvest so you don't have to stress about it. I've grown clones and flushed a few and didn't flush the others, absoulutely no difference. Better off stopping feeding a few weeks before harvest

My "friends" flowering room -- back most developed is holy grail 69, front is Thunder Bloody Mary Auto and the two sides are hindu kush. All put in here at different times.

That's a 4x4 room to give you an idea on size... :-)

What should my "friend" expect to harvest from the back one that's most developed?

what obijohn said. When people tell you 4 weeks, they mean a ball park figure but the plant will do her own thing and may take a bit longer. I don't think its going to be less than 4 weeks.

Looks like its going to be a nice yield!

guesstimate on its yeild?
That's very strain and light dependent. Again, it would be nice if you revealed to us the strain you are growing and the wattage you are burning. Looks like hps.

A wild guess, around 2oz.

The last 5 days since posting this the crystal production has went CRAZY, the buds are frosty now!

So...should I start doing only water in maybe another 10 days or so?
