hmm u sure that plant is some purple kush?? my buds were super purple by the time i got ready to harvest nd im not seeing too much if any purple on urs?? i got 2.96 ounces from mine
I'm sure in as much as it was bag seed from some shake I was given at a coop here in socal.

That being said, I popped 6 seeds from that bag, they all ended up female, I have flowered them all before in soil and took clones from each but got them mixed up. Of the 6 one did actually grow purple, I just took these from the wrong mother.

Yeah I have one, I am still thinking of starting the flush on saturday and letting that go for 10 days. That will put me at 70 days total of flowering, do you think that will be enough? I just don't want to start my flush too early and mess things up.

Looking really good- I have to put in my vote to wait longer. 10 days doesn't seem long enough for those buds, my bet is with another 20 days those things will be insanely delicious, frosted over, and on fire with red hairs. There are some great threads on here that have made me realize you are much better off harvesting late than harvesting early.

My Northern Lights are just finishing up at 9.5 wks flowering. Thats supposedly an indica dominant, which have shorter flowering phases than sativas. As good as my girls look, I'm convinced I could let them go 10 days longer without any damage done, only sticky goodness. If you're growing a sativa, you should not be surprised by flowering periods of 12weeks and over. I'm not too educated on the genetics behind Purple Kush, and of course theres always the off chance that you're not actually growing a Purple Kush plant, but unless its straight indica you should be prepared for the long haul.

Once again, great job so far. I just personally believe if you wait longer, you will by no means regret it. However if you cut early, you might find yourself saying "fuckitall, i shoulda waited"

If you are talking about from the pictures then the plan is 17 days, and if they don't look right go longer. But my question is should I start the flush on saturday in anticipation of that, or put it off another week which would put me with total of 77 days flowering.

Okay, it looks like they have become hermaphrodites and I am seeing the beginning of seeds in a lot of places. Should I cut right away or should I flush a bit first, or what?
