Please give me your opinion on whether i can get ANYTHING smokable off this sative plant in 5 weeks.
THis is my first grow, I have no idea how long it will take for buds will beginning to grow, right now its only growing hairs for the past 2 weeks.
Impatience is killing me, and i need to know if the grow should be aborted because i don't want to take this risk just to get jack shit in the end.

you don't have much choice to wait because so far , you have nothing to smoke. Just wait it out.
So far , you have beginning hairs but no bud yet. They will come.

5 weeks? Why 5 weeks, moving?

You'll have something in 5 weeks, but not nearly as good as if you let it go full term.

I'm seeing many threads with a similar strain to mine that take rediculous amount of time. I'm disheartened.

Yes moving in 5 weeks. Fuck this plant. i thought trying to grow would be cheap, but it really adds up when its this bagseed. I do prefer sativa tho, guess thats my crime.

Idiotic. This bagseed was bomb, I'm growing it to escape buying shit indica strains being sold at ridiculous prices by dealers in my area.
Hey Booty, just stick that guy on ignore. He's a troll that will get banned soon enough. He's all pissed off cause he doesn't know shit about growing and has been getting laughed out of threads lately for horrible advice. He get's all pissed off when people disagree with him and then goes apeshit. Just report his posts to the MODS and then stick him on your ignore list. He's a toolbag and not worth your time.

Plants are looking really young man. You are going to need at least another 4-5 weeks. Good luck.

If you let it go 5 more weeks it will be done. It looks like you are 2 weeks or so in already. 7 or 8 weeks is normal budding time and if you pull it when it's not done all the way, you'll just retain even more of the sativa headiness you are wanting. Greeeeeeeeeeeen. :D :peace:

hahah. thanks i actually reported him before i read your quote. he is very funny. the profile pic gives his troll qualities away, so I
didnt let him irk me lol.
When you say 4-5 weeks, you mean to get smokable bud off it? I still have no friggin clue what a very young, tiny
bud would look like. All I know is that my plants are alternating nodes, and all the stalks have begun to branch vertically upward angled towards the light.
And there are green wheat-like formations at the tips of the branches. like tiny calyxys with sharp hooked points. (are these the buds??) cause they are tiny as f***

For example: you know that in order to sex your plant, you look for 2 hairs+pistol and if you find those, then its a female. However no such guide exists to
tell you what a "bud" is, so its hard to know when its actually formed, expecially since i've been in 12/12 for 6 weeks already, its confusing to see other people with FAT
buds at week 4-6, and mine is just throwing hairs, and what appears to be wheat grains. I mean it looks like a wheat plant at the tips. Here are some pics.

haha thanks, thats comforting, I have actually had it on flowering for almost 6 weeks now. took almost a full moth just to show pistols. it has pained me to kill my other females that did not begin to throw hairs, since there was no way they would finish on time. I decided to focus everything(cfls nutes) on this single plant, and I guess it does show some sign of growth/change everyday so i will hold my shears

Six weeks and that's it? Something is wrong. Not enough light / nutes would be my guess.

yea I got a bit nervous panicked and switched to a 6/12 cycle to speed things up. I didnt care if it would hurt yield. I did this for about 2 weeks, and am now back to 12/12

hey man, i didn't realize that you had already been in flower for 6 weeks. that is really strange. she should be much further along then that. what are your temps around the plant (under the lights)? what are you feeding her? how many CFL's and wattage do you have her under? even the longer flowering strains would still be further along then this. she does look really stretchy and i think you may have stunted her somehow. you are just getting the beginnings of some buds that i can see in the first 4 pictures. especially the 4th one. normally on an 8 week strain you will see those around week 2-3. i've never grown any of the real long flowering strains so i'm not 100% on their timetable but you do seem a little behind.
