How much pc grow/microgrow smells

I was just wondering how much does a small plant smells. I don't mind if my whole room smells or even the whole house. How much would a plant yielding about 3 to 4 ounces smell? Would the smell be contained in the house? Or rather how much yield should I grow so that the smell is only contained in the house? Assuming no carbon filter.. of course I'll be having some air scrubbing system but the question is just as an emergency just in case the air scrubbing system doesn't work. Thanks so much in advance for the help and sorry if I posted in y wrong place..

Honestly, it depends on the strain. Some strains are gonna stink a lot more then others, but even if it's only a couple oz's... it's gonna smell. Specially when they're flowering.

I had a small indoor grow one time 12/12 from seed. Had a small diy carbon filter on the exhaust and I could still smell the plant, at the time I thought that my carbon filter design didn’t work... so I removed it. Came home from work and I could smell the plant As soon as I opened the storm door to the house. I did a closet pc grow box that I had no carbon filter on, vented it directly I to the attic via the crawl space opening in a closet. No smell at all ever.

Completely strain dependent. Northern Lights is a good one, or Papaya. Very low odour and super small growing.

In all honesty, if you spend a few bucks just make yourself a USB fan based carbon filter DIY style. Super cheap and works wonders!
